Silvia Magadan, D.O.
Dr. Magadan has been practicing pediatrics for twenty-three years. She attended NJ-School of Osteopathic medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Morristown Memorial Hosptial. Her knowledge in the field and compassion towards her patients' health is admirable. Her resume has been garnished with numerous awards that attest to her experience and care, including the NJ's favorite kids doctor award.

Elena Cobleigh, Nurse Practitioner
Elena Cobleigh is a Certified Nurse Practitioner, who joined our practice in the Fall of 2015. Elena graduated with honors from Seton Hall University's Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program with a concentration in Primary Care Pediatrics. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) and loves to read and attend conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest information and advances in pediatrics. She has been a strong addition to the practice, providing individualized, age appropriate, family centered care.

Sarah Siessel, Nurse Practitioner
Sarah Siessel is a Family Nurse Practitioner, who joined our practice in the Fall of 2024. She was previously a nurse for 7 years with experience in pediatrics and adult cardiology. She also started in our office as a medical assistant while in nursing school. Sarah graduated from William Patterson University in Spring of 2024 with her MSN in Family Practice. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and loves to spend time with her family. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate and developmentally appropriate care to her patients and their families.

Melissa Connolly, M.D.
As a practicing doctor for sixteen years, Dr. Connolly has a tremendous amount of experience. She attended SUNY Stony Brook Medical School and completed her fist year of residency at Hershey Medical Center, followed by three additional years at the Medical Center of Delaware for Med/Peds. Her expertise has made her an important assest to the practice. Dr. Connolly's work is highlighted by her empathy and warmth with the kids she cares for.

Cindy Angelica, Nurse Practitioner
Cindy Angelica is a Nurse Practitioner, who joined our practice in the 2017. Cindy graduated with from Seton Hall University's Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program with a concentration in Primary Care Pediatrics. She continue to stay up to date on on the latest research in pediatrics but remaining a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP). Her fun, dynamic benevolent personality along with her extensive knowledge in pediatrics is a great asset to our practice, and it shows in her care to her patients.

Maggie Healy, Exec. Nurse
Maggie Healy, a practicing nurse for twenty-three years with Dr. Magadan is acknowledged as the executive nurse of Pediatric Associates of Morris. Maggie has worked and seen it all. She is able to answer patients' questions and is very valuable in that aspect. Additionally, parents have admired the way Maggie interacts with children making her a well-rounded fantastic nurse that we are lucky to have.

Lisette Garayua, Billing

college students.
Recent outbreaks
over the past few years at colleges, including Princeton, has lead to the recommendation of this vaccine prior to entering college. Recomended for patients age 16 -23 years of age. This is in addition to Menactra/Menveo which cover against Meningitis A,C,W, and Y.

Tips for a Healthy Summer
​
It's important for your kids to soak up some Vitamin D, while playing outside, but keeping them safe & healthy is always most important. Use our summer tips to find out ways to keep them safe & healthy during the hot summer months.
​
​1. Apply sunblock and wear a hat when outside. Sunscreen should be applied 15-30 minutes before going outdoors and reapplied every 2 hours. Children under 6 months should remain in the shade and should avoid the use of sunscreen.
​​
2. Drink extra water in the summer. Staying hydrated is super important to keeping children healthy.
​
3. Maintain healthy eating habits and continue vitamins. Although you can always grab some ice cream to cool off. In case of brain freezes, press your tongue against the roof your mouth.
​
4. Beware of hot cars! Never leave a child of any age unattended in a car for any length of time.
​​​​
5. Go for a bike ride with your child and teach them safe biking riding tips like wearing a helmet.
6. Take your children for a dip in the pool, but keep an eye on them especially if they are just learning to swim.
​
7. Wear bug repellent especially when near wooded areas to avoid bug bites or tics. Be sure to also check your children for tics after playing outside. ​
​
8. Fireworks and sparklers are beautiful but dangerous. Avoid any at home fireworks and always supervise children with sparklers. Did you know one third of firework burns are in children under the age of 15?
​
9. Play grounds are fun exciting place for kids when the weather is nice. Be sure that you touch test the slides to prevent burns when children slide down. You should also make sure there are soft surfaces under like mulch or rubber incase they fall. You should also make sure you children are dressed properly with secure shoes to prevent injury.
​
10. Summer heat is no joke! Make sure your children are staying hydrated, staying cool and taking frequent breaks in an air conditioned area.
